Job summary

Sourceo Pte Ltd in Malaysia seeks a hands-on Data Steward to lead DXP C360 data quality stewardship, blending governance, analytics and engineering to make trusted data measurable, understandable and usable for self-service analytics.

You will design automated data quality checks, maintain catalog hygiene, partner with Data Engineering, BI and governance teams to embed controls into production, and coach domain stewards to lift data trust.

Qualifications

• 5–9+ years of experience in data stewardship and data governance with technical depth.
• Strong ability to translate business definitions into executable quality controls.
• Experience embedding quality checks into cloud data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• DQ automation, control design, and remediation workflows.
• Maintain catalog hygiene and trust metadata for priority datasets.
• Analyze data patterns, defects, and trends to drive improvements.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, BI, and governance teams to embed checks into pipelines.
• Coach stewards and run stewardship operating model with governance standards.
