Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a QC/QA Data Operations Lead to scale daily QC capacity, manage 20+ workers, and coordinate outsourced teams to maintain high data quality for AI datasets. The role emphasizes ownership, problem-solving, and strong English communication in a hybrid work environment.

You will review videos, AI training data and annotations, perform RCA for recurring issues, and drive process improvements while collaborating with vendors. Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in QC, QA, Data Operations, Data Annotation, AI Data Services or a related field.
• Experience reviewing videos, AI datasets or annotations.
• Familiarity with RCA and continuous process improvement.
• Familiarity with data annotation/labelling or QC platforms.
• Experience managing or coordinating 20+ workers is preferred.
• Experience working with outsourced teams or vendors is highly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a strong sense of ownership.
• Good English communication skills, including the ability to understand technical documentation and work asynchronously.
• Mandarin-speaking ability is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Scale daily QC capacity and improve QC efficiency.
• Manage and coordinate 20+ QC workers simultaneously.
• Review videos, AI training data and annotations to ensure quality.
• Monitor QC performance and identify quality issues.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify and resolve recurring issues.
• Improve QC processes, workflows and guidelines.
• Work closely with outsourced teams, vendors and distributed workers.
• Track QC quality and productivity metrics.
• Proactively identify issues and drive effective solutions.
