Job summary

Kamlax Global is seeking an experienced Data Migration Tester in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to join on-site at Wisma Lee Rubber. You will lead SIT, UAT, and DR test executions, validate migrated data, and perform rigorous data reconciliation across source and target systems.

Ideal candidates have a CS/IT/SE background, hands-on data validation experience, and are proficient with JIRA and SQL, with immediate on-site availability in Kuala Lumpur.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of professional QA, testing, and data validation experience.
• Hands-on experience executing SIT, UAT, and DR cycles in enterprise projects.
• Experience with data validation, anomaly detection, and cross-system reconciliation.
• Proficiency with JIRA and defect tracking tools.
• Willingness for full-time on-site deployment in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Execute System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Dress Rehearsal (DR) test cycles.
• Validate migrated customer, product, and financial records against legacy source data baselines.
• Perform data reconciliation, discrepancy analysis, and data integrity checks between source and target systems.
• Execute end-to-end business scenario testing to verify complex workflows and functional correctness.
• Log, retest, and track defects using JIRA or equivalent defect management tools.
• Prepare test evidence, execution logs, and QA sign-off documentation for stakeholders.
• Support go-live readiness activities, cutover rehearsals, and post-migration validation checks.
• Collaborate with data engineers, ETL developers, DBAs, and business analysts.
• Ensure adherence to testing governance, data security, and project schedules.
