Job summary

Genpact in Malaysia is hiring a Data Engineer to shape data flows, build robust ETL pipelines, and maintain data quality across data lake and warehouse environments.

You will collaborate with data scientists and analysts to translate data requirements into actionable datasets, troubleshoot issues, and evaluate new data technologies for continuous improvement. This role is office-based in Malaysia with day shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degrees in Analytics, CS or Statistics; Masters in Data Science preferred.
• Certifications in data management or cloud data platforms are advantageous.
• Experience with data pipelines, ETL and data lake/warehouse concepts is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data ingestion processes.
• Design and optimize data storage and retrieval solutions.
• Build and maintain ETL processes to transform and load data into data lake/warehouse.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver datasets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
• Ensure data quality and integrity in the data pipelines.
• Research and evaluate new data technologies and tools for continuous improvement.
