Job summary

Materialise is seeking a Data Engineer to build and maintain scalable data pipelines supporting analytics and reporting for Materialise Medical. You will work with engineers, analytics teams, and stakeholders to ensure accurate data processing and reliable data products.

Responsibilities include monitoring pipelines, implementing automated quality checks, and collaborating across the organization to improve data platform reliability and engineering practices. AWS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Python or scripting language.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data processing pipelines and data products to support analytics and reporting.
• Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot failures, and improve platform reliability.
• Implement automated validation, reconciliation, and quality monitoring for data accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with analytics, software engineering, and data consumers to deliver trusted data products.
