Materialise Medical in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Data Engineer to build and maintain reliable, scalable data pipelines for analytics and reporting. You will collaborate with software engineering, analytics teams, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate data processing and high platform reliability.

The role requires a degree in CS/SE/DE (or equivalent), Python scripting, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work cross-functionally.

Competenze

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or equivalent.
• Programming or scripting experience, preferably Python.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.

Mansioni

• Design, develop, and maintain data processing pipelines and data products.
• Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot failures, investigate data issues, and improve platform reliability.
• Implement automated validation, reconciliation, and quality monitoring to ensure data accuracy.
• Work with AWS services such as Glue, Athena, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, and DMS.
• Collaborate with analytics teams, software engineers, and data consumers to support trusted data products.
• Contribute to monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of data platform reliability and engineering practices.
