Job summary

Materialise Medical is seeking a software developer to design, implement, and test maintainable software that supports personalized healthcare solutions. You will collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver features, participate in R&D, and contribute to 3D modelling and CAD-related functionalities.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of Python experience, a solid grasp of software engineering principles, and familiarity with Agile methods and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of software development experience, with exposure to Python programming.
• Good understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and coding best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement reliable and maintainable software solutions.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with project and customer requirements.
• Contribute to the development of 3D modelling, CAD, and data-processing functionalities.
• Design, implement, and optimize algorithms to improve software functionality and performance.
• Participate in R&D projects by exploring and applying new technologies and development approaches.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following development best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to effective debugging and problem-solving.
• Support continuous improvement of development workflows, processes, and team collaboration.
• Keep up to date with relevant software development technologies and industry trends.
