Job summary

Verinon Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a talented Data Engineer on a contract basis to design, build, and maintain data pipelines that empower analytics and decision-making across the organisation.

The Senior Data Engineer will work with AWS, Data Lake and Data Warehouse platforms, as well as Apache Iceberg and Terraform, to deliver scalable data infrastructure and support BI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Data Platform Engineering, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including:
• Experience designing and supporting enterprise Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions.
• Experience working with Apache Iceberg tables and large-scale data processing platforms.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Experience planning, executing, and supporting Disaster Recovery (DR) activities, including failover testing, recovery validation, and business continuity processes.

We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join Verinon Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur on a contract basis. This role is central to our data infrastructure strategy, where you will design, develop, and maintain the systems that enable our organisation to harness the power of data. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical part in building scalable and efficient data pipelines that support business intelligence, analytics, and operational decision-making across the company.
