Job summary

HTC Global Services MSC Sdn Bhd is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise reporting solutions using SSRS. You will optimize MSSQL/T-SQL objects and build robust ETL processes with SSIS, while enabling secure data exchange with PowerShell automation and SSH/SFTP transfers.

You will work closely with business users to ensure data accuracy, report reliability, and maintain complete governance and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise reporting solutions using SSRS.
• Strong SQL skills: MSSQL/T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, views.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support SSRS reports for operational, management, financial, regulatory, and ad-hoc needs.
• Develop and optimise MSSQL/T-SQL objects and SQL Server Agent jobs.

Job description

Responsible for the design, development, enhancement, and support of enterprise reporting solutions using SSRS, including operational, management, financial, regulatory, and ad-hoc reports.

Key responsibilities

Develop and optimise MSSQL/T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, views, and SQL Server Agent jobs to support reporting and data requirements

Develop and maintain SSIS ETL processes and system integrations, including data extraction, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting

Support PowerShell automation, SSH/SFTP file transfers, batch processing, and PGP/GPG encryption and decryption for secure and automated data exchange

Provide Level 2/3 production support, including incident troubleshooting, root cause analysis, performance optimisation, deployment, and SLA management

Work closely with business users and application teams to gather requirements, ensure data accuracy and report reliability, and maintain technical documentation and governance standards
