Luxoft Malaysia SDN. BHD. invites you to join its newly established technology centre in Kuala Lumpur as an ETL / Data Warehouse developer.

You will design, build and maintain ETL workflows and data pipelines supporting financial technology solutions. The role requires hands-on Informatica, strong SQL with Oracle or SQL Server, and experience across OS such as Linux and AS400. Banking domain knowledge is valued as the team delivers data-driven solutions for business growth and technology

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of ETL / data warehouse development experience.
• Hands-on Informatica ETL experience.
• Experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server databases.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation.
• Shell scripting experience.
• Working knowledge of AS400, Linux and Windows OS.
• Understanding of data warehouse concepts (ETL, data modelling, data flows).
• Banking industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple source systems.
• Develop reusable ETL components and mappings.
• Work on Global Data Warehouse (GDW) systems.
• Ensure data consistency, integrity and availability.
• Write and optimize SQL queries (Oracle / SQL Server).
• Perform data validation and reconciliation.
• Optimize ETL jobs for performance and efficiency.
• Participate in SIT/UAT testing cycles and support deployment and release activities.
• Provide L2 support for ETL and data warehouse issues and troubleshoot job failures.

The selected resource will be working in a newly setup technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation. The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support physical and digital banking services and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple source systems
• Develop reusable ETL components and mappings
• Work on Global Data Warehouse (GDW) systems
