Job summary

Mission Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced Teradata/Informatica Business Analyst in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The role focuses on gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and designing data solutions using Teradata and Informatica.

The candidate will interact with users, document requirements, and develop design specifications. The position requires extensive experience with ETL processes, data modeling, and SQL development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience designing, developing and managing Data Warehousing applications.

Responsibilities

• Gathering of Requirements from various systems business users.
• Communicating with the business users to understand business requirements clearly
• Conducting meetings with the data architects to understand the source system elements
• Consult with business stakeholders to understand and evaluate current business processes and identify complex business problems and needs turning those needs into system requirements.
• Provided support to other developers in mapping source attributes into the Teradata FSLDM and interpreting business requirements.
• Worked with the Data Modeler and Data Architect in enhancing the FSLDM
• Developed scripts for loading data into base tables in EDW using FastLoad, MultiLoad and BTEQ
• Implemented logical and physical data modeling with Erwin in Data Mart

About the job Teradata/Informatica Business Analyst

Mission Consultancy Services is looking for an experienced, Business Analyst who has significant

experience in Teradata and Informatica Projects. Previous experience in Banking and Financial

Services is a plus. The successful candidate have experience in Interacting with Users, analyzing

client business processes, Documenting business requirements, Performing Design Analysis and

Developing Design Specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Gathering of Requirements from various systems business users.
• Communicating with the business users to understand business requirements clearly
• Conducting meetings with the data architects to understand the source system elements
• Consult with business stakeholders to understand and evaluate current business processes and identify complex business problems and needs turning those needs into system requirements.
• Provided support to other developers in accurately mapping source attributes into the Teradata Financial Services Logical Data Model (FSLDM) and in interpreting business requirements.
• Worked closely with the Data Modeler and Data Architect in enhancing the FSLDM
• Development of scripts for loading the data into the base tables in EDW using FastLoad, MultiLoad and BTEQ utilities of Teradata.
• Implemented logical and physical data modeling with techniques using Erwin in Data Mart

Skilled required
Minimum 5 years - Experience in Designing, Developing & Managing Data Warehousing Applications
(Informatica and Teradata). Solid understanding of relational databases
Previous experience in creating Source to Target Mapping Data documentation. Develop understanding
of data models of various source systems and their relationships
Experienced in writing Design Documents, System Administration Documents, Test Plans & Test
Scenarios/Test Cases and documentation of test results.
Experienced in Designing and Preparing Training Material and Conducting Training Sessions to the users.
Good understanding of Teradata architecture, FSDLM, Stored Procedures & it’s Load Utilities.
Hands on experience in designing, building & monitoring ETL processes using Informatica.
Expert in writing complex SQL queries to automate jobs in Teradata.
Integrate data from multiple sources into one database system to streamline information.
Isolate and resolve issues with data and databases and make sure final tables are easily accessible and
database performance is optimized.
Optimize the system performance using best ETL/Database practices.
Hands on experience analyzing, optimizing and combining large datasets from various sources by writing
complex queries from multiple sources.
Always been the person who takes on any project and willing to do what is needed.
Flexibility in dynamic environments.
Banking experience with understanding of Hadoop Architecture & it’s framework is preferred.

Required Education :
You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent substitute.
Salary :-
As this is position is for abroad so package will as per expats market standards in based country.
Salary Range : INR 108675- 144900
Working location: One of the largest Bank in Malaysia located in Kuala Lumpur.
