Job summary

Intellipro Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Data Centre Shift Operations Leader to oversee 24/7 critical facilities in Johor/ Bukit Jalil. The role focuses on leading shift teams and ensuring reliable operations in a mission-critical environment.

You will monitor and coordinate via BMS/SCADA, manage incidents, coordinate with vendors, and ensure safety and compliance across HVAC, UPS, generators, switchgear and fire protection systems.

• Shift leadership or supervisory background
• Alarm monitoring and incident coordination experience

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate critical facility operations through BMS, SCADA, alarms and other control/monitoring systems
• Respond to critical alarms, incidents and operational issues with proper escalation and communication
• Lead and supervise engineers, technicians or operations personnel during assigned shifts
• Support operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure including HVAC/ACMV, UPS, generators, switchgear, electrical and mechanical systems, cooling systems and fire protection
• Lead or coordinate on-site incident response and troubleshooting activities
• Ensure all critical systems remain operational and maintenance activities are carried out safely and effectively
• Prepare and maintain shift handover reports, incident reports and operational documentation
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors and stakeholders during critical events and planned activities
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures, safety requirements and escalation processes

DATA CENTRE SHIFT OPERATIONS LEADER (JOHOR/BUKIT JALIL)

Are you an experienced Data Centre, Critical Facilities, Control Room or Shift Operations professional ready to take the lead in a mission-critical environment?

We are looking for experienced candidates to support 24/7 data centre operations, with opportunities suitable for professionals with strengths in either Control Operations (COCC) or Shift Operations.

What You'll Be Doing

Depending on your experience and operational assignment, you will be responsible for:

Monitoring and coordinating critical facility operations through BMS, SCADA, alarms and other control/monitoring systems

Responding to critical alarms, incidents and operational issues, ensuring proper escalation, communication and coordination

Leading and supervising engineers, technicians or operations personnel during assigned shifts

Supporting the operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure, including HVAC/ACMV, UPS, generators, switchgear, electrical and mechanical systems, cooling systems and fire protection systems

Leading or coordinating on-site incident response and troubleshooting activities

Ensuring all critical systems remain operational and maintenance activities are carried out safely and effectively

Preparing and maintaining shift handover reports, incident reports and operational documentation

Coordinating with internal teams, vendors and stakeholders during critical events and planned activities

Ensuring compliance with operational procedures, safety requirements and escalation processes

Experience in data centre, critical facilities, control room or mission-critical operations

Strong exposure to either BMS/SCADA/alarm monitoring and incident coordination OR hands-on electrical/mechanical facilities operations

Experience with critical infrastructure such as UPS, generators, switchgear, HVAC/ACMV, chillers, cooling systems and fire protection systems

Strong troubleshooting, incident management and escalation skills

Proven experience in leading, supervising or coordinating technical teams

Comfortable working in a shift-based, 24/7 critical operations environment

Able to remain calm, decisive and responsive during critical incidents
