Job summary

ACCORD INNOVATIONS SDN. BHD. is seeking an Executive – Data Centre Operations & Facilities to oversee day-to-day operations, maintenance, governance and physical security of the Data Centre and DR facilities.

This role ensures continuous availability of critical infrastructure and coordinates vendors and maintenance activities. The incumbent will monitor environmental systems, maintain regulatory compliance, support DR exercises, and manage incident response in a fast-paced enterprise

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Facilities Management or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in Data Centre Operations, Facilities Management or Infrastructure Operations.
• Experience managing vendors and mission-critical environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Data Centre Operations: daily checks, environmental monitoring, documentation, equipment management.
• Facilities & Environmental Monitoring: monitor HVAC, UPS, generators, fire suppression.
• Physical Security Management: manage access control, visitor management, CCTV.
• Vendor & Contract Management: coordinate maintenance vendors and SLAs.
• Compliance, Audit & Governance: maintain docs and support audits.
• Incident Management: respond to incidents and support DR/business continuity exercises.

Job description

The Executive – Data Centre Operations & Facilities is responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance, governance, and physical security of the organisation's Data Centre and Disaster Recovery (DR) facilities. The role ensures continuous availability of critical infrastructure, coordinates vendors and maintenance activities, monitors environmental systems, and maintains compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Centre Operations: Daily operational checks, environmental monitoring, housekeeping, documentation, rack and equipment management, infrastructure support.
• Facilities & Environmental Monitoring: Monitor PAC/HVAC, UPS, generators, fire suppression, water leak detection and environmental systems.
• Physical Security Management: Manage door access systems, visitor access, CCTV monitoring and physical security compliance.
• Vendor & Contract Management: Coordinate maintenance vendors, monitor SLAs, supervise preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Compliance, Audit & Governance: Maintain documentation, inventory, rack layouts, support PCI DSS, RMiT and audit activities.
• Incident Management: Respond to incidents, coordinate stakeholders, support DR and business continuity exercises.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT, Engineering, Facilities Management, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–5 years experience in Data Centre Operations, Facilities Management or Infrastructure Operations.
• Experience managing vendors and mission-critical environments preferred.
