Job summary

ACTIVE FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS SDN BHD is seeking a Fire Protection Site Supervisor for the data centre project in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. You will supervise the installation of sprinkler, hydrant, and wet systems, coordinate pipe spools, and manage on-site subcontractors.

The role requires a diploma/certificate in mechanical/building services, 3+ years of site supervision, CIDB Green Card, and ability to read drawings. Malay/English proficiency beneficial; start by 15 Nov 2026.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or related field
• At least 3 years' site supervision in sprinkler, hydrant, wet systems
• CIDB Green Card required or able to obtain before starting
• CIDB CSS (SKKP) certificate an advantage
• Read shop drawings and hydraulic schematics
• Experience with prefabricated pipe spools is an advantage
• English required; Mandarin a strong plus; Bahasa Malaysia an advantage
• Hands-on, able to meet tight schedules on a large site
• Able to start on 15 November 2026 or on short notice
• Must have own transport

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily installation of wet fire protection systems on the data centre project
• Supervise pipework installation including grooved/threaded joints and valves
• Coordinate prefabricated pipe spools from fabrication facility
• Manage on-site subcontractors and workers; track progress
• Ensure work follows shop drawings, method statements, and Bomba standards
• Coordinate with main contractor, client, consultants and other trades
• Prepare RFIs/WIRs, test records and QA/QC snag closure
• Witness hydrostatic tests and fire pump testing; support handover
• Enforce safety rules with Safety & Health Officer
• Report progress and material needs to management; track deliveries
• Mark up as-built information for drawings
