Job summary

HR Exchange Pte. Ltd. seeks a Technical Service Engineer/Technician to operate at the Senawang/Seremban data centre site.

You will perform installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on facility and equipment systems. Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, inspecting wiring and power distribution, maintaining service reports, and providing on-site customer training.

Qualifications

Degree, Diploma, or Technical Certification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Service Engineer / Technician in electrical, electronic, M&E, facilities, or industrial environments.
Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Familiar with diagnostic tools and technical documentation.
Must be willing to work in Seremban/Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.

Responsibilities

Install, test, service, and commissioning of the equipment systems.
Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical faults.
Inspect wiring, grounding, and power distribution for hazards or inefficiencies.
Carry out loop checks, insulation resistance testing, and continuity testing.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliability and safety compliance.
Maintain accurate service reports and maintenance history for each customer.
Provide on-site support and training to customers as needed.
Keep up to date with technical methods, tools, and systems.
