APERIA CLOUD SERVICES (I) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Data Centre Engineer to implement, maintain, and optimize data center solutions in Cyberjaya.

The role involves collaborating with the regional HQ, managing operations for reliability, and promptly troubleshooting hardware and software issues. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor's in IT/CS with 1–2 years of relevant experience, strong problem-solving skills, and knowledge of Linux/Windows.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience required.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and data center security.
• Familiar with Linux and Windows OS.
• Basic networking knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain integrated data center solutions.
• Collaborate with regional HQ for project updates and alignment.
• Manage data center operations, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues promptly.
• Conduct regular system audits and implement security measures.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration.
• Monitor and optimize data center performance and capacity.
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures and report them to HQ periodically.
• Provide day-to-day technical support to end users and ensure smooth running of computers, network devices, and printers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve end user application issues, maintain and update technical support documentation.
• Handle asset management, maintain inventory and liaise with vendors.
• Maintain and monitor customers network infrastructure, IT security and antivirus tools.
• Other duties include first level troubleshooting and support for scheduled server backups, system monitoring and reports.
