Job summary

RedCloud Consulting seeks a Security Project Engineer to support immediate client operations in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Metro Area. The role acts as the owner’s representative for physical security across data center construction projects, coordinating with internal teams, General Contractors, and Security Integrators.

The position focuses on onsite security engineering, design standard adherence, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure projects meet quality standards and turnover readiness.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in physical security, construction engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and related infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and plan the security construction program with early engagement.
• Review drawings, design standards, and guidance to GCs and SIs.
• Lead security kickoff meetings with project stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for physical security matters.
• Coordinate with GCs and SIs to align work with approved designs.
• Facilitate coordination between security integrators and other trades to resolve conflicts.
• Participate in regular onsite meetings and report status to construction teams.
• Drive security commissioning levels 2–4 and manage the punch list.
