Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Ltd. seeks an experienced Cluster Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations across multiple data centres, ensuring uptime and SLA adherence. You will lead a team of operations and technical staff, drive maintenance programs, and coordinate with vendors to minimize downtime.

The role requires strong English communication, leadership abilities, and a track record in 24/7 data centre operations. Experience with ISMS, SOC2, or PCI DSS is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Fluent in English.
• 7–10 years in data centre operations, with 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Certifications such as CDCP or CDCS are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple data centres within the cluster, ensuring 100% uptime and SLA compliance.
• Implement and maintain operational policies, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Manage incident response, troubleshooting and resolution to minimize downtime.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of operations and technical staff.
• Coordinate with shift teams to ensure 24/7 coverage and smooth handovers.
• Plan and oversee maintenance and upgrade projects with minimal impact.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and audits.
• Collaborate with customer support to provide quick and professional service delivery.
• Support strategic initiatives and budget planning for operational efficiency.
