Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific is seeking a qualified Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) professional to operate, inspect and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment in assigned facilities in Johor Bahru. You will work to minimize downtime through proactive maintenance and timely inspections.

The role requires BO Chargeman certification where possible, a strong safety ethos, and experience with DDC/EMS systems; a licensed electrician with 7+ years' experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Background in M&E & FM knowledge.
• BO Chargeman certification 33kV preferred.
• 7+ years as licensed electrician with GED; apprenticeship preferred.
• Master Electrician license per local electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned inspections, quality control, and supervision of employees and subcontractors.
• Deal with incidents, complaints, breakdowns and repairs.
• Provide engineering assessments and troubleshoot with service providers.
• Provide 24-hour emergency support as first response.
• Inspect property with standard checklist and ensure timely repairs and renewals.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance and corrective work.
• Supervise contractors to ensure work meets scope and SOPs.
• Attend to technical calls and ensure safety rules are followed.
