Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a diligent electrical maintenance technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems. You will troubleshoot faults, inspect equipment, and coordinate with contractors to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Responsibilities include servicing electrical installations, maintaining records, and promptly addressing maintenance requests. Independent work, strong safety practices and a valid Chargeman or related certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in electrical maintenance.
• Relevant electrical technical knowledge and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
• Valid Chargeman Certificate is highly preferred.
• Wireman / electrical competency certification will also be considered.
• Able to work independently and respond to maintenance issues promptly.
• Good understanding of electrical safety practices.
• Responsible, punctual and willing to perform hands-on maintenance work.
• Possess own transportation will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine preventive and corrective electrical maintenance.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs.
• Inspect and maintain electrical equipment, distribution boards, wiring and related systems.
• Respond to electrical breakdowns and maintenance requests.
• Perform regular inspections to identify potential electrical or safety issues.
• Assist in testing, servicing and maintenance of electrical installations.
• Coordinate with contractors or service providers when required.
• Maintain proper maintenance records, checklists and service reports.
• Ensure all electrical works are carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures and applicable requirements.
• Support other facility and maintenance-related works when required.
