Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure seeks a Data Center Site Lead to oversee day-to-day operations in Johor and manage colocation partners for mission-critical facilities.

You will collaborate with security, access control, and internal teams to maintain 100% availability, drive incident and change processes, and mentor data center engineers while shaping best practices across deployments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colocation providers and stakeholders to maintain 100% data center availability.
• Ensure adherence to data center security standards through coordination with access management and security systems.
• Lead incident, change, and problem management for data center space, cooling, and power systems.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with data center operations.
• Initiate corrective and preventive actions on incidents and implement global industry best practices.
• Provide regular reports and audits on data center performance and security.
• Review operating procedures (SOO, SOP, EOP, MOP) and collaborate on document development as needed.
• Establish and develop site-specific processes with the colocation provider.
• Ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and standards.
• Oversee and mentor a team of data center technicians and engineers.
• Support new data center builds/deployments to meet business expectations.
• Lead and facilitate regular operations meetings with the colocation provider.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data center management.
• May require working outside of normal business hours when necessary by business needs.

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Data Center Site Lead to oversee day-to-day operations, infrastructure deployments, and colocation partner management within our mission-critical data center environments.

Role Overview

As the Data Center Site Lead, you will serve as the main accountable owner for all matters related to data center critical operations, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders (mainly colocation provider) to ensure operational excellence. You will work hand-in-hand with access management and security systems to adhere to Oracle's stringent data center security standards/policies. Additionally, you will actively involve in incident, change, and vendor management for data center space, cooling, and power systems. Your proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks associated with data center operations will be vital to the success of this role.
