Job summary

Turner & Townsend SDN. BHD. is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager for data center initiatives in Cyberjaya, Malaysia.

You will lead end-to-end mechanical project delivery, coordinate with internal teams and contractors, and manage schedules, budgets, and resources. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 10 years in project management for data centers or mission-critical facilities, with strong knowledge of HVAC, power distribution, UPS and cooling

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
10 years of project management experience in advanced manufacturing,data centers or mission-critical facilities.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, power distribution, UPS, generators, and cooling systems.
Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end project lifecycle for mechanical requirements.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth execution.
Review and approve technical designs, drawings, and specifications.
Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and Tier III/Tier IV data center standards.
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders.
