Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Data Center Facility Manager in Kuala Lumpur to lead the critical infrastructure team and ensure 100% uptime for mission-critical servers and facilities. You will drive maintenance, reliability improvements, and budget adherence across regional data centers.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in data centers or building operation, with strong people management and a background in electrical or mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical teams and engineers in data center or large-scale services.
• Proven track record maintaining SLAs and proactive issue detection.
• Experience operating mission-critical teams or products in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical physical infrastructure.
• Manage teams of 24x7 engineering technicians to support and operate data center facilities.
• Engage in improvement projects and drive them from conception to completion.
• Coordinate daily with third-party vendors to meet contracted SLAs.
• Effectively manage the operations budget and expenditures.
• Serve as afterhours on-call Data Center Facility Manager for regional sites.
