Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Ltd. is seeking a Facilities/Mechanical Engineer to oversee installation, operation, and maintenance of critical MEP systems across its data centres.

You will ensure HVAC, electrical and fire-safety systems operate reliably while leading 24/7 shift teams for seamless handovers. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or building services engineering and at least 1 year in facilities management or related fields; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or building services engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of facilities management/engineering/building services experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, operation and maintenance of all MEP systems in data centres.
• Ensure HVAC, electrical, fire safety and security systems run reliably and safely.
• Lead shift teams for 24/7 coverage and smooth handovers.
• Plan and manage preventive and corrective maintenance per manufacturer standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance and upgrades.
• Maintain compliance with building codes and EH&S regulations.
• Gather data and reports to monitor performance and support audits.
• Support strategic initiatives to improve mechanical system performance.
