Schneider Electric is seeking a System Architect to own end-to-end electrical design for data center solutions in Malaysia, from utility entry to rack-level delivery. You will ensure UPS, distribution, and grounding are sized and integrated with BMS systems while maintaining high standards of safety and reliability.

You will work with KAM, Segment Solution Architect, and EPC partners to drive bids, defend designs in technical reviews, and optimize energy performance, including PUE and efficiency

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (BE/BTech preferred).
• 8–14 years in datacenter electrical design, commissioning, or presales; minimum 5 years in Data Center environments.
• Demonstrated design experience: UPS systems, distribution architecture, switchgear sizing, power redundancy (N, N+1, 2N).
• Experience producing SLDs, load calculations, cable schedules, equipment specifications.
• Ability to present and defend electrical designs to customer electrical engineering teams.
• Working knowledge of BMS/DCIM integration, SNMP/Modbus protocols, power monitoring systems.
• Familiarity with IEC/IEEE standards and Uptime Institute Tier electrical requirements.

Responsabilités

• Own the end-to-end electrical design: power chain from utility entry to rack-level delivery.
• Design UPS and distribution systems, size UPS setups, calculate runtimes, and plan distribution.
• Integrate monitoring, grounding and protection with BMS using SNMP/Modbus.
• Design power for high-density AI data centers, model energy performance and PUE.
• Ensure designs meet IEC, IEEE, NEC and local codes and Uptime Institute Tier requirements.
• Shape specifications with consultants, EPC contractors, and ensure standards and RFPs include Schneider Electric solutions.
• Lead engineer-to-engineer discussions, defend design decisions, and present redundancy strategy to customer engineers.
• Drive bids as part of the account fighting unit with KAM and other architects.
