Job summary

FARBEN INFORMATION (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks an automation/maintenance professional to ensure reliable overseas data center BMS/EPMS data access.

You will organize CMDB topology mapping, EMS monitoring surveys, and alarm convergence while optimizing automation technology and coordinating with local FM/FE to drive IDC control system construction from monitoring to automation. The role requires 3+ years in operation and maintenance or quality engineering, familiarity with BMS/EPMS, Modbus,

Qualifications

• Mechanical, electrical, automation, HVAC, computer science, or related majors.
• 3+ years of operation and maintenance management or quality engineering experience.
• Familiar with automation system architecture and operating logic.
• Familiar with BMS/EPMS systems and infrastructure equipment; proficient in Modbus, BACnet, SNMP, MQTT.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the reliability of data access for overseas data center BMS/EPMS systems.
• Organize local FM/FE to complete CMDB topology mapping, spot checks, and continuous updates.
• Organize local EMS monitoring point survey, access, remediation, and optimization.
• Organize local FM/FE to complete alarm convergence, EOP linkage, and contingency plan execution strategy formulation and drills.
• Responsible for the optimization and evaluation of automation technology, and developing standard solutions for similar problems.
• Responsible for automation-specific risk investigation, change review, operation and maintenance technology optimization evaluation, maintenance review, and global unannounced inspections.
• Promote the implementation of key automation technologies in global data centers to ensure equipment automation is problem-free.
• Supervise on-site change operations by suppliers, and be responsible for system deployment, debugging, use, optimization, and strategy configuration

Job description

Ensure the reliability of data access for overseas data center BMS/EPMS systems. Leverage existing skills to use PLC, DDC, BA (Building Automation), SCADA, environmental monitoring/DCIM, and communication protocol access methods to connect HVAC, power supply and distribution, water supply and drainage, environmental, and fire protection linkage equipment in the computer room, enabling them to operate automatically, stably, and energy-efficiently.

Key responsibilities

Ensure the reliability of data access for overseas data center BMS/EPMS systems

Organize local FM/FE to complete CMDB topology mapping, spot checks, and continuous updates

About you

Mechanical, electrical, automation, HVAC, computer science, or related majors

3+ years of experience in operation and maintenance management or quality engineering

Familiar with automation system architecture and operating logic, and understand logic optimization measures

Familiar with BMS/EPMS systems and infrastructure equipment, and proficient in mainstream communication protocols (Modbus, BACnet, SNMP, MQTT, etc.)

Possess system deployment, debugging, usage, optimization, and policy configuration capabilities; coding/scripting skills (Python/Shell, etc.) are a plus

Possess bilingual (Chinese and English) communication skills and be able to independently complete overseas on-site technical communication and English documentation

Possess cross-departmental, team, and cultural collaboration capabilities; strong execution and a strong sense of responsibility

Work closely with local FM/FE to promote the implementation of IDC control system construction from monitoring to automation
