Job summary

TIMESFLY INTERNATIONAL (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD invites a skilled Project Manager to oversee construction and data center projects in KL/JB. You will plan, monitor, and deliver projects on schedule, budget, and scope, coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in civil/related fields and at least five years of PM experience in construction. Data center experience is a plus; strong leadership and bilingual English/Chinese abilities

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of project management experience in construction projects.
Candidates with Data Center project experience will be highly preferred.
Experience in commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or large-scale building projects will also be considered.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project planning, and contract management.
Familiarity with local authority requirements, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Good leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under tight deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or other project management software.
Good command of English and Chinese, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Manage the overall planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of construction and data center projects.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety requirements, and project specifications.
Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for management and stakeholders.
Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation measures.
Lead project meetings and maintain effective communication among all parties involved.
Review and approve project documentation, method statements, and work procedures.
Ensure quality control standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage project variations, claims, and contract administration matters.
Support testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
