Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Bid Manager to lead a team responsible for producing documents that help develop new business opportunities and support the business development team. This role is part of the Sales function and focuses on designing sales solutions for potential, new, and existing clients.

You will supervise staff, coordinate daily activities, and ensure deadlines are met while maintaining strong client relationships and representing CBRE at industry events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in staffing, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated information and convey performance expectations.
• Leadership skills to motivate team and impact on quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees and conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities and deadlines.
• Distribute documents to update the business development team on progress.
• Assist with proposal of strategies to fulfill identified business opportunities.
• Coordinate the bid process to ensure timely delivery of deadlines.
• Attend client site visits, meetings, and preparation of presentations.
• Act as liaison between client and company throughout the bid process.
• Contribute to client workshops, distribute minutes, and manage follow-up.
• Maintain excellent client relationships and after-sales support.
• Raise the company profile by representing CBRE at industry events.
• Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
