Job summary

HCLTech is seeking an Annotation Associate to manually annotate and label data for our client. You will support multiple streams, ensuring dataset accuracy and reliability, and provide day-to-day support to project leads and teams.

Responsibilities include verifying data quality, creating targeted evaluation sets, annotating results, and maintaining meticulous records. The role emphasizes attention to detail, time management, and clear communication in English.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Fresh graduate in English Language/TESL is a plus.
• Excellent English understanding; US exposure is a plus.
• 1-2 years in annotation, data analysis or content moderation is a plus.
• Excellent English communication skills, verbal & written.
• Experience with data labeling and categorizing.
• A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in annotation.
• Strong research skills to analyze user search intents.
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
• Ability to analyze data and follow complex instructions.
• Ability to aggregate and analyze data in Excel.
• Listening to content and transcribing it.
• Domain knowledge relevant to annotation projects is preferred.
• Experience with annotation tools and platforms is preferred.
