Job summary

Chemin AI is seeking a Part-Time Project Associate to support the Delivery Team in managing AI data annotation projects, especially Mandarin and Cantonese data. The role focuses on coordinating people, planning ahead, and driving project workflows in a remote or hybrid setup from Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Mandarin reading, writing and speaking.
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Comfort coordinating multiple people in a remote/work-from-anywhere setup.
• Willingness to learn project management fundamentals through hands-on work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project operations, timelines, and deliverables with the Delivery Team.
• Plan ahead to maintain clear priorities and schedules.
• Assist with project setup including workflows, trackers, guidelines, and channels.
• Guide and support the remote Data Annotator community on tasks and instructions.
• Respond to annotator questions and clarify requirements.
• Monitor progress to identify delays, risks or quality issues.
• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Coordinate Mandarin/Cantonese data across regions (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, HK, Mainland China).
• Support client communications, project updates, and clarifications of requirements.
• Manage project administration and on-time delivery; take initiative to resolve issues.
