Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced Data & Finance Support Analyst to join our GIPS Service Recovery team in a banking environment. You will provide application and production support for Finance, Risk, Regulatory Reporting, and BI platforms, ensuring operational stability and SLA adherence.

The role requires hands-on experience in production support, incident management, and data analysis across finance and risk reporting applications.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in application support, production support, or application development within the Banking and Financial Services industry.
• Strong understanding of: General Ledger (GL); Regulatory Reporting; Finance & Accounting Systems; Business Intelligence and Reporting Solutions.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications in both Unix/Linux and Windows environments.
• Hands-on experience with database querying, troubleshooting, and batch processing tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide application and production support for Finance and Risk-related systems, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents while meeting SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures to reduce recurring incidents.
• Work closely with business users to manage requests, resolve queries, and ensure timely closure of issues.
• Proactively monitor application performance, system health, and operational stability.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, database, and business teams to support releases and production deployments.
• Follow ITIL-based Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation, support reports, issue tracking, and communication during incidents.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR), BCM, infrastructure upgrades, and platform maintenance activities.
• Analyze application capacity and performance trends to support capacity planning and forecasting.
• Support management reporting and contribute to strategic initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
