Job summary

Global Retailer in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Data Analytics Manager to lead a team of 6, delivering data-driven projects from planning through implementation.

You will drive insights, maintain BI reports, and collaborate across business units to meet data requirements and KPIs. A strong background in SQL, Power BI, Tableau and modern BI platforms is required.

Qualifications

• Min 8 years in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, actuarial or quantitative.
• Min 3 years leadership experience.
• Skilled at data visualisation tools, SQL, Power BI and Tableau.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric or other modern business intelligence platforms.
• Ability to articulate complex data and communicate insights to the non-IT audience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 6 to deliver data-driven projects from planning to implementation.
• Analyse business data to identify trends and insights.
• Maintain BI solutions and management reports for visibility of performance.
• Collaborate with business, technology and back offices to gather data requirements.
• Monitor KPIs and recommend data-driven improvements.

• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders clearly.
