Job summary

Boilermech is seeking a Data Analytics & BI Analyst to lead organizational BI initiatives, transforming complex data into actionable insights using Power BI and SQL. You will design dashboards, build predictive models and automate reporting to drive growth.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Finance and Operations to translate business requirements into analytics solutions and present insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in data reporting, analytics and end to end dashboard development.
• Proficiency in data visualization and AI-powered analytics tools, particularly in Copilot and Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of data handling tools — Excel, Google Sheets, and basic SQL for querying data.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to explain data insights to non-technical teams.
• Experience leading projects or coordinating cross-functional initiatives.

Data Analytic & Business Intelligence Analyst

This position leads the organizational-wide business intelligence initiatives in transforming large and complex business data into actionable insights that drives business growth and smarter decision-making. This includes driving the design, develop and maintain BI dashboards, predictive models and automation tools to deliver business and operational performance metrics. This role requires strong analytical skills, experiences in data engineering and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI) and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to uncover opportunities and to ensure that business decisions are driven by accurate, data-backed insights.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Data Management & Reporting

• a)Collect, clean and organize data from multiple internal and external sources (ERP, Project System, Customer Solutions, Sales Tracking etc).
• b) Ensure data accuracy, integrity and completeness across all BI platforms.
• c)Design, develop and maintain dashboards, automated BI reports and analytics solutions to monitor KPIs and business trends.
• d)Identify patterns and trends across business and market data to forecast future performance and provides predictive insights.

2) Business Insights & Performance Tracking

• a)Transform business requirements into meaningful insights through effective data visualization and reporting practices.
• b)Analyse and visualize key operational metrics, KPIs and financial analytics to support decision-making and data-driven solutions.
• c)Provide regular insights to management on company performance, growth opportunities and operational performances.
• d)Support development and maintenance of data pipelines and analytics solutions (e.g., SQL, Databricks, Excel/Power Query).

3)Automation & Process Optimization

• a)Support integrations between operational systems and ERP / operational systems.
• b) Optimize BI systems, implement smart solutions utilizing LLM / ML models and enhanced data pipelines for efficiency.

4)Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• a)Partner with departments such as Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations to understand business goals and translate them into BI requirements.
• b) Present clear, concise and visually appealing reports to non-technical stakeholders.
• c)Provide hands-on technical expertise and guidance to reporting developers and BI team members.
• d)Serve as a subject matter expert in reporting, analytics and data visualization tools.

Experience/Skills Required:
