The Business Intelligence is responsible for generating the insights that fuel the Group's strategic direction and innovation pipeline. This role manages the business intelligence function while actively supporting the development of new ventures and business models through rigorous analysis and research.
Prepare and maintain management dashboards, reports and performance monitoring tools.
Collect, consolidate, validate and analyze business data from relevant departments.
Provide timely business insights on performance, trends, opportunities and risks.
Support the development and monitoring of business KPIs.
Conduct analysis to support management decision making.
Prepare forecasts, trend analysis and scenario analysis as required.
Identify potential opportunities for revenue growth, cost reduction, productivity improvement and operational efficiency
Support the identification and development of new business ideas and opportunities.
Conduct research on market trends, customer needs, competitors, technologies and industry developments.
Assist in evaluating new ideas, products, services and business models.
Prepare analysis and business cases for potential innovation initiatives.
Coordinate with relevant departments during testing and implementation.
Track the performance and business impact of innovation initiatives.
Maintain an innovation pipeline and status report.
Identify inefficient, manual, duplicated or unnecessary processes.
Conduct data and process analysis to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
Assist in developing recommendations to improve productivity, service quality and efficiency.
Support automation and digitalization initiatives.
Work with business and technology teams to implement improvement solutions.
Monitor the progress and results of process improvement initiatives.
Prepare before and after analysis to measure improvement impact.
Support the Chief Strategic Officer in strategic planning and decision making.
Prepare data and analysis for strategic planning and decision making.
Support business plans, investment proposals, expansion projects and transformation initiatives.
Develop presentations, reports and supporting analysis for management meetings.
Monitor the progress of assigned strategic initiatives and prepare status reports.
Maintain accurate and reliable business performance data.
Support the development and standardization of KPI definitions.
Validate data from different departments and systems.
Identify data inconsistencies and reporting gaps.
Work with Finance, IT, Operations, Retail, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and other departments to resolve data issues.
Maintain data sources and documentation for management reporting.
Support the implementation of data governance practices.
Identify technologies that can improve business performance and customer experience.
Evaluate opportunities involving automation, artificial intelligence, analytics, digital platforms and other emerging technologies.
Coordinate with IT and business departments during implementation.
Work closely with IT and business functions to assess and implement suitable solutions.
Ensure technology initiatives are aligned with business objectives and deliver measurable value.
Monitor emerging technologies and assess their potential application within the business.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, Business Improvement, Strategy, Data Analytics or related areas.
Experience in retail, manufacturing, FMCG, distribution, supply chain or a related industry is preferred.
Analytical Acumen: Superior analytical and quantitative skills.
Curiosity & Creativity: Natural curiosity and a creative approach to problem-solving.
Communication: Ability to tell a compelling story with data.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and research methodologies.
