Vistage Malaysia is hiring a hands-on BI & Digital Transformation Analyst to support internal systems, reporting, automation, and operational processes. You will work closely with the CEO, CIO, and IT vendors, owning day-to-day digital operations and project delivery.

The role offers exposure, autonomy, and a potential path to a Digital Transformation Lead or Digital Director, with a hybrid work setup and broad cross-functional responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of BI, data analytics, or digital transformation experience.
• Strong Power BI proficiency.
• Working knowledge of SQL; Python is a plus.
• Excellent Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query).
• Self-driven with ownership and clear communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to translate business questions into insights.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across reports.
• Translate business questions into actionable insights.
• Identify manual workflows for automation and support AI initiatives.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a hands-on and business-oriented Business Intelligence & Digital Transformation Analyst to support and improve our internal systems, reporting, automation, and operational processes.

This is not a highly specialized enterprise IT role. Instead, we are looking for someone with broad practical experience across business systems, IT support, applications, reporting, and operational technology, someone comfortable wearing multiple hats and supporting internal stakeholders directly.

You will work closely with the CEO, CIO, and our IT vendors, taking ownership of day-to-day digital operations, reporting initiatives, system coordination, and process improvement projects.

This role offers strong exposure, autonomy, and a potential long-term growth path into a Digital Transformation Lead or Digital Director role.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Intelligence & Reporting

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Translate business questions into insights

Digital Transformation & Process Improvement

• Identify manual workflows for automation
• Support AI-enabled initiatives
• Work with external vendors

Stakeholder & Project Ownership

• Bridge business and technical needs
• Own documentation, prioritisation, and delivery

Systems Oversight & Operational Continuity

• Maintain visibility over core business systems to ensure stability and smooth day-to-day operations.
• Perform initial investigation and coordination when system or data issues arise, and work with external vendors or support partners to resolve them.
• Ensure system changes, fixes, and workflows are properly documented to support continuity and knowledge transfer.
• Help maintain and improve system documentation, configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Business Systems, or Digital Transformation roles
• Strong proficiency in Power BI
• Working knowledge of SQL; Python is an advantage
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query)
• Comfortable working independently with strong ownership and follow-through
• Clear communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
