The Data Analyst is responsible for transforming data into meaningful insights to support business decision‑making, operational efficiency, and strategic initiatives within the bank. This role works closely with business stakeholders to design, develop, and manage BI solutions while ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and usability.

The Data Analyst is responsible for transforming data into meaningful insights to support business decision‑making, operational efficiency, and strategic initiatives within the bank. This role works closely with business stakeholders to design, develop, and manage BI solutions while ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and usability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Intelligence & Reporting
    • Develop, manage, and maintain Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, dashboards, and reports to support business and management reporting.
    • Design and deliver reports using tools such as Excel, Tableau, and other BI platforms throughout the application lifecycle.
  • Data Analysis & Data Mining
    • Perform data mining and analysis on large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
    • Provide timely and accurate insights to support business performance monitoring and decision‑making.
  • Business Collaboration
    • Collaborate closely with business users and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
    • Present findings and insights in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
  • Requirements & Process Analysis
    • Analyze business processes and requirements to ensure alignment with data analysis and reporting solutions.
    • Map business needs to data structures, metrics, and KPIs.
  • Process Improvement & Optimization
    • Identify opportunities to improve business processes and strategies through data‑driven and technology‑based solutions.
    • Recommend enhancements to reporting, automation, and data workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Operational & Development Support
    • Identify development needs to improve and streamline operational processes.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to data quality, reporting standards, and analytics capabilities.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related fields.
  • 1 year experience in data analysis, BI, or analytics roles, preferably within banking or financial services.
  • Strong proficiency in:
    • Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data modeling)
    • Tableau or similar BI tools
    • SQL (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent deductive reasoning and critical thinking abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate data insights into business recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
