Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a data-related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in Data Analytics, BI, or reporting.
• Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate or equivalent is a plus.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI and data visualization.
• Proficiency in DAX, SQL, and Python for data extraction and automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, optimise, and troubleshoot Power BI dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making.
• Utilise Power Automate to streamline data processes and automate workflows.
• Write and maintain code using Python, SQL, DAX to extract, transform, and analyse data from various sources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and develop data models.
• Analyse data and provide insights to support strategy, operations, and decision-making.
• Identify data discrepancies, anomalies, or errors and investigate them.
• Monitor data streams and provide timely analysis and insights for strategic decisions.
• Provide technical and analytical support to team members as needed.
• Conduct Power BI presentations and training sessions.
• Provide advisory support to Sales, Project, Support, Training, and Product Development teams.
• Prepare and maintain dashboards and reports.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing data, preparing reports and dashboards, identifying trends, and providing meaningful insights to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, optimise, and troubleshoot Power BI dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making.

Utilise Power Automate to streamline data processes and automate workflows, ensuring efficient and accurate data handling.

Write and maintain code using Python, SQL, DAX, and other relevant tools to extract, transform, and analyse data from various sources.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop appropriate data models to support analytical needs.

Analyse data and provide meaningful insights to support business strategy, operations, and decision-making.

Identify, highlight, and investigate data discrepancies, anomalies, or errors identified during the analysis process.

Monitor data streams and provide timely analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and provide technical and analytical support when required.

Conduct Power BI presentations and training sessions when required.

Provide functional advisory and support to team members across Sales, Project, Support, Training, and Product Development.

Prepare and maintain relevant documentation, reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs.

Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior from time to time.

Report directly to the Technical General Manager.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting, or a related field.

Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate or equivalent certification is an added advantage.

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including dashboard development, report optimisation, troubleshooting, and data visualisation.

Good knowledge of DAX, SQL, and Python for data extraction, transformation, analysis, and automation.

Experience with Power Automate and workflow automation is an added advantage.

Good understanding of data modelling, data transformation, data cleaning, and data validation.

Ability to identify data discrepancies, analyse trends, and translate data into meaningful business insights.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Comfortable conducting Power BI presentations and training for internal teams.

Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Project, Support, Training, and Product Development.

Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
