Job summary

Soft Space in Kuala Lumpur seeks a data analyst to turn complex data into actionable insights through SQL, Power BI, and Tableau. You will collaborate with business users and data teams to deliver robust BI reports and dashboards.

You will focus on data preparation, data quality, and automation opportunities, maintaining accuracy and efficient analysis to support decision-making.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of data analysis experience.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Hands-on SQL query experience and working with RDBMS.
• Experience with data visualization/BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong Excel and VBA knowledge.
• Experience with automation and process improvement is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

• Discover, understand, and explain trends or patterns in intricate data sets.

• Analyze current data sources to spot areas for data quality improvement and better analysis.
• Work closely with data team members to ensure that data is precise, complete, and consistent.

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 to 5 years of experience in data analysis.
• Strong in problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Hands on experience with SQL query and working with database tools (SQL or any RDBMS).
• Experience in data visualization and BI Reporting tools, i.e. Power BI, Tableau, etc.
• Strong knowledge in Excel and VBA.
• Experience in automation and process improvement would be a great advantage.
