Job summary

Masih Jaya Sdn Bhd is seeking a Data Analysis Clerk to join our Lahad Datu office. As a full-time role, you will collect, organise, and analyse data to support decision-making, providing insights to drive growth and efficiency.

You will work with cross-functional teams to validate data, produce reports, and present actionable findings to management. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years in a data-focused role, strong Excel/SQL skills, and the ability to communicate clearly.

About the role

We are seeking a talented Data Analysis Clerk to join our team at Masih Jaya Sdn Bhd. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for collecting, organising, and analysing data to support the company's decision-making processes. Working from our office in Lahad Datu District, Sabah, you will play a crucial role in providing valuable insights that drive business growth and operational efficiency.

What you’ll be doing

• Gathering and processing data from various sources to support departmental and company-wide reports and analyses
• Performing data validation and cleaning to ensure accuracy and integrity of information
• Analysing data using statistical methods and data visualisation tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights
• Presenting findings and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner
• Assisting with the development and maintenance of data management systems and processes
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide solutions

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar data-focused role (Vehicle/Machinery)
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualisation software
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal and proactive
• Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Able to travel / site visit / outstation
