Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a senior BI leader to own the end-to-end dashboard portfolio, from build through deployment and retirement, ensuring adoption across the Group’s functions.

You will lead a team of Data Analysts, advance the standardisation of reporting, and drive continuous dashboard enhancements as business needs evolve. A strong background in Power BI and SQL is essential, with ability to influence stakeholders and scale the BI function.

Qualifications

• Around 5+ years in BI or analytics, with real ownership of dashboards from build through deployment and retirement.
• Hands-on with Power BI (or an equivalent modern BI platform) and SQL; you own the data model, not just the visual layer.
• Experience pulling multiple business units onto one reporting standard, and the stakeholder management to make it stick.
• Comfortable leading a team and building a case for growing it, backed by delivery.

This role owns the half of Business Intelligence that turns into dashboards people actually use, and the reporting standards behind them. You'll take charge of a growing portfolio of dashboards across the Group's business functions — end to end, from build through deployment, not reports that get filed away.

What you'll own:

• Team management — lead a team of Data Analysts and drive the strategic roadmap for the function
• Dashboard portfolio — the group's core dashboards, end to end from build through deployment
• Reporting standardisation — bring every business unit onto one reporting standard
• Continuous enhancement — a running programme of dashboard enhancements as business units' needs evolve
• Internal communication — BI's internal-facing channel for surfacing what the data shows to the rest of the Group

What we're looking for:

• Around 5+ years in BI or analytics, with real ownership of dashboards from build through deployment and retirement
• Hands‑on with Power BI (or an equivalent modern BI platform) and SQL; you own the data model, not just the visual layer
• Experience pulling multiple business units onto one reporting standard, and the stakeholder management to make it stick
• Comfortable leading a team and building a case for growing it, backed by delivery
• A plus, not a requirement: property development exposure, or experience producing numbers that go in front of a Board or listed‑company audience
