Job summary

Device Technologies in Malaysia seeks an Associate Product Specialist to join the robotics team and work with the da Vinci Surgery portfolio. You will drive adoption among surgeons and healthcare professionals and collaborate with customers and colleagues to deliver hands-on training.

Qualifications

• Permanent resident status in your relevant country
• Proven skills in sales, territory management, presenting, influencing and time management
• Demonstrated competence in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• High standard of demonstrable written and verbal communication skills
• Professional appearance
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule with occasional overnight travel
• 70% Klang Valley based with 30% outstation role, within Peninsular Malaysia
• Minimum 2 years’ experience selling in medical or pharmaceutical in an hospital environment, preferably for surgical equipment/consumables in the Operating Theatre
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in relevant Sciences-degree or nursing degree or similar

Responsibilities

• Reports to Clinical Sales Manager to achieve financial and non-financial KPIs
• Consistently assist Product Specialists to develop and grow the territory through engagement with existing and new customers
• Drive new surgeons and HCPs adoption of da Vinci robotic surgeries through da Vinci Technical Training Pathway
• Collaboration with customers, colleagues & managers to effectively execute da Vinci surgery technology training for HCPs - surgeons and nursing team
• Develop and review territory engagement plan with manager to ensure consistent growth of trained surgeons’ procedures yield
• Responsibly manage administrative task, reporting, SFDC, and sales activities
• Additional duties and some sales-related activities as required from time to time as part of career development
• Manage travel and administrative tasks for robotics team
