Job summary

Motorola Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a software engineering professional in Bayan Lepas, Penang, to advance cybersecurity testing and automation for mission-critical radios.

You will develop automation scripts, analyze system requirements, and collaborate with multiple engineering teams to implement AI-driven improvements in automation solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering/Science or Communication Engineering / Software Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Performs cybersecurity system integration test of software and hardware to maintain throughput and program consistency.
• Analyzes requirements, design specifications, system topology and develop test procedures based on cybersecurity requirements/ specification.
• Develop scripts to automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate automated solutions seamlessly.
• Performs false failure analysis, troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing automation test setups.
• Continuously evaluate, study, identify opportunities and enhance the automation process for efficiency.
• Document the automation processes and system configurations for future reference if required.
• Analyze, submit, and manage defects.
• Upgrade and maintain test tools & infrastructure if required.
• Develop and implement machine learning algorithms to enhance AI capabilities in improving the automation solutions.
• Create and maintain documentation for AI model development and deployment processes.
• Test and validate AI models to ensure accuracy and reliability in real-world scenarios.

Job Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering/Science or Communication Engineering / Software Engineering.
• 1 - 2 years working experience. Fresh graduates / entry-level applicants with strong technical skills are welcome to apply.
• Knowledge in Python, Javascript, Angular, C, C# or other languages used for scripting.
• Knowledge in Android, IoT, WiFI, LTE, DMR, video are added advantage
• Works under general supervision, self-motivated, able to work and integrate well into cross-functional team.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functional teams.
• Customer focused and result oriented.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with an attention to detail.
• Flexibility to accommodate occasional short-notice work arrangements based on project/business needs.
• Candidate must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang.
