Job summary

Motorola Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd invites a motivated Computer Engineering or Computer Science student to join as a New Grad Intern in the TETRA Software Engineering team in Bayan Lepas, Penang.

You will participate in AI initiatives to improve engineering efficiency, work in a collaborative embedded software environment, and gain exposure to different software development lifecycles and agile methods, using C++ and Python in an embedded Linux context.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Minimum internship duration: 3 months (12 weeks).
• Must be able to indicate internship start and end date (duration in weeks) in the application.
• Must be available to start in December or January.
• Strong interest in software development especially AI, with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well and communicate effectively within a team environment.
• Foundational understanding of software development principles.
• Familiarity with C++ or Python is a plus.
• Willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang.
