Job summary

Golden Agri-Resources Malaysia is seeking a security professional to strengthen our IT defenses across systems and networks. You will conduct VAPT, patch management, internal audits, SIEM operations, and threat intelligence usage to protect data and infrastructure.

You will deploy DLP, oversee network security measures, coordinate with the SOC for incident response and forensics, and stay current with cyber security trends to apply timely patches and safeguards.

Qualifications

• Candidate should have hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations and compliance practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Vulnerability Assessments & Penetration Testing (VAPT).
• Manage patch deployment and patch management processes.
• Perform internal audits and ensure compliance.
• Operate SIEM solutions for threat hunting and forensic analysis.
• Digest threat data from multiple sources to produce threat intelligence.
• Deploy Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls for laptops.
• Maintain knowledge of network infrastructure.
• Oversee security segments: Firewall, Antivirus, VPN, Email security, and related areas.
• Collaborate with SOC to investigate incidents and perform forensic investigations.
• Monitor cyber security trends and apply patches; support daily office automation equipment.

• 6. Deployment/implementation of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) to laptop users.
• 7. Knowledge in Network infrastructure management.
• 8. Knowledge in Security segments, Firewall, Antivirus, VPN, Email security and etc
• 9. Work with Security Operations Centre (SOC) investigate intrusion and hacking incidents, collect incident responses, and carry out forensic investigations.
• 10. Evaluate cyber security trends, update security patches, attend to security incidents Additional skills: To support daily operation for office automation equipment such as Desktop/Laptop/Printer/Wifi router.
