Job summary
Elite Material (Penang) Sdn Bhd (EMC) is seeking a Customs & Logistics Executive to manage import/export documentation, ensure LMW compliance, and oversee logistics operations in a high-tech manufacturing setting in Penang, Malaysia.
The role requires 5+ years in logistics and customs, strong knowledge of LMw procedures, and IATA/IMDG handling, with fluency in Mandarin and English to support international communications. This on-site position offers exposure to global shipments and audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field.
- Minimum 5 years in logistics and customs operations.
- Knowledge of LMW procedures and customs regulations.
- Experience with IATA/IMDG dangerous goods handling.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English.
Responsibilities
- Handle customs import/export documentation.
- Plan and oversee logistics and shipping operations.
- Maintain LMW inventory and customs documentation.
- Handle IATA/IMDG shipments.
- Coordinate with customs, freight forwarders, and agents.
- Monitor logistics issues and resolve delays.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners.
- Support customs audits and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in continuous improvement for logistics efficiency.
