Job summary

Flintex Consulting Pte Ltd in Malaysia is seeking a capable CQE for a full-time role in Senai, Johor. You will respond to customer complaints, drive 8D processes, and coordinate containment actions with engineering teams to ensure rapid issue resolution.

The position requires 2–5 years in manufacturing, an engineering degree or diploma, and knowledge of ISO9001/ISO14001/ISO/TS16949, SPC, and Six Sigma. Training in internal audits is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer complaints and validates the issue.
• Prepares containment action plans within one working day.
• Collaborates with process engineer on 8D reports and customer responses.
• Maintains and updates complaint records in Lynx or equivalent.
• Participates in Quarterly Business Reviews with customers.
• Analyses quality trends and recommends process improvements.
• Alerts customers to major product/process changes.
• May participate in internal quality audits and audits findings.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

• Responds to customer complaints.
• Validates the complaint;
• Follows-up with immediate visit if required;
• Provides containment action plan within one working day;
• Works with the process engineer or production executive on 8D report and responds to the customer within 5 working days;
• Closely following-up with the customer on 8D till customer’s acceptance / closure;
• In the event of customer’s request, to present the 8D report to the customer & if required, together with respective process engineer;
• Updates the complaint details (e.g. root causes, containment action, permanent CA) into Lynx if the complaint is logged into Lynx.
• Participates in Quarterly Business Review (QBR), as hosted by the customer.
• Analyses quality trend of customer complaints, feedback analysis & propose recommendations for improvement.
• Notifies customer on all major changes to products & processes.
• Is authorized to stop production line to rectify product quality issue.
• Works with the manufacturing plant & interco on technical & quality matters when requested by customers.
• As someone who is also being trained in Internal Quality Auditing, the CQE will participate in Internal Quality Audits, process audits & address all audit findings with respective area / department.

Job Requirement

• 2 – 5 years of related experiences in a manufacturing environment.
• Engineering background, preferably with a degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering OR
• Diploma in engineering with a minimum of 3 years working experiences.
• Experience in implementing ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO/TS16949 is preferred.
• Experience in TQM implementation is preferred.
• Knowledge of stamping, molding and plating process will be an added advantage.
• Sound knowledge of SPC application is essential and experience in conducting quality audits.
• Trained in Six Sigma Black Belt will be an added advantage
