Job summary

VAT Group AG is seeking an organised planner for our Malaysia team to support sales orders, production scheduling, and data integrity across planning systems. You will liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely order fulfilment.

The role requires a Diploma or higher with 1-2 years in planning or supply chain, strong MS Office and ERP skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment in Penang, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma holder with 1-2 years of experience in Planning, Supply Chain or Business Management.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems; ability to coordinate with suppliers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sales order processing and acknowledgement according to procedures.
• Perform sales order maintenance including date updates and rescheduling.
• Support production schedule updates and coordinate information flow between planning and production.
• Expedite transfer order transactions to ensure timely release of production orders.
• Monitor and maintain data accuracy within planning systems and databases.
• Prepare and update reports related to sales orders, production schedules, inventory and delivery commitments.
• Follow up with internal stakeholders to obtain required information for order fulfillment.
• Escalate supply shortages or planning issues to the responsible planner.
• Track customer orders and keep planning information updated promptly.
• Support inventory verification and data validation tasks.
• Perform routine checks and administrative tasks to support daily supply chain operations.

• Roles, Responsibilities and Job Expectations
• Assist in sales order processing activities, including order acknowledgement and confirmation according to established procedures.
• Perform sales order maintenance activities, including date updates, rescheduling, and order follow-up under the guidance of planners.
