Job summary

Hospital Picaso in Malaysia is seeking a CSSD Technician for the Operating Theatre to ensure safe and effective delivery of surgical procedures.

You will decontaminate, sterilise, and prepare surgical instruments in a fast-paced CSSD, with a focus on accuracy and patient safety. This is a full-time role located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Sterilisation Technology or equivalent.
• 1–2 years CSSD/healthcare experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking.
• Good communication with surgical team.

Responsibilities

• Carefully clean, decontaminate, and sterilise surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies using specialised techniques and equipment.
• Organise and stock the CSSD (Central Sterile Services Department) to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Distribute sterile items to the operating theatres and other departments as required.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of all sterilisation processes.
• Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and infection control protocols.
