The role includes on-call shifts, mentoring junior staff, maintaining documentation of sterilisation processes, and responding to inquiries to support departmental efficiency and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with valid APC in Malaysia.
• Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
• Strong clinical judgement, communication, and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and organises daily work activities such as receiving, decontaminating, and processing procedure sets and instrument as requested by the end users.
• Ensures quality control in dealing with infectious cases by strict adherence to correct processing procedures and preparation of detergent used.
• Respond to complaints and resolve issues promptly to ensure departmental efficiency, including root-cause analysis when needed.
• Orientates junior staff in the function of the department.
• Maintains clear documentation in the testing and sterilising process for steam and low temperature steriliser under careful controlled conditions.

Job Requirements

• Registered Nurse with valid APC (Annual Practicing Certificate) in Malaysia.
