Job summary

Private Advertiser invites an experienced Health and Safety Officer (Green Book Holder) to oversee HSE compliance across manufacturing operations in Malaysia and Singapore. You will manage permits (CePSWaM, eSWIS) and liaise with regulators to ensure full legal compliance.

The role focuses on policy implementation (ISO 14001/45001), risk assessments, SOP development, incident investigation, and cross-border coordination. Travel to Singapore may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in science, engineering, or related discipline.
• 3+ years in manufacturing, focusing on safety and machine maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of OSH Act, Environmental Act, BOMBA SOP (Malaysia/Singapore).
• Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation.
• Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
• Able to travel to Singapore when required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage permit requirements under Malaysian law.
• Liaise with DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, MOH to ensure legal compliance.
• Support Singapore operations with safety matters.
• Lead HSE policies and risk management aligned to ISO 14001/45001.
• Conduct risk assessments and enforce control measures.
• Develop SOPs for safety and emergency response.
• Investigate accidents and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate maintenance and equipment safety with vendors.
• Prepare regulatory reports for Malaysia and Singapore.
